Galway Gospel Choir wins in Mayo International Choral Festival, 2011
The Galway Gospel Choir is a 50+ strong community choir operating since 2001 out of Galway City under the musical direction of Michel Durham. Our repertoire focuses on the promotion and performance of Traditional and Contemporary Gospel music in Ireland.
The Galway Gospel Choir tours nationally and internationally.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals happen weekly on Wednesdays from 7.30 sharp – 10pm in Geata Na Ceathracha, Fairgreen Road, Galway.
Our Ethos
Bringing together people of different ages and cultures from Galway city and its environs, through the medium of novel music – Traditional & Contemporary Gospel – to afford members the opportunity to express themselves creatively in a warm and welcoming environment.
